Wool FLOR Tiles
FLOR has made carpet tiles accessible to the broader public. And they never cease to amaze me with their exciting new styles. I love their newest, Best of Both Wools. The installation shown creates the illusion of a broadloom carpet alternating the primarily chocolate Dorset stripe and the off-white based Suffolk stripe. Pricing on these tiles runs $7.80 sq ft, an 8′ x 10′ area rug is $630.
Another favorite of mine is the Shaggy Sheep which mimics a shag rug when installed. The color range is great – ranging from chocolate brown to off-white. I have my eye on the Gotland Gray. Pricing is reasonable – $9.66 sq ft or $910 for an area rug. Not bad, considering that you can easily replace a tile if needed.
